Nourish Your Mind

Nourishing your mind consists of what you think and absorb into your consciousness.

Your thoughts, feelings and self-talk all determine your actions and the outcomes of your life. You must nourish your mind with positive and inspiring things daily to achieve optimal mental health.

Here are some ways to nourish your mind:

  • Cut out (reduce) distractions
    • Do a digital detox & take time off from technology (social media, email, etc)
  • Feed your mind with healthy information
    • Get outside, learn something new, read/watch inspiring stories, surround yourself with a positive environment and people. 
  • Mind your thoughts
    • Examine your (limiting) beliefs, choose your words and thoughts carefully, refrain from gossip and complaining, set daily intentions, practice meditation.
  • Make time for being quiet
    •  Take micro mind breaks through the day, breathe, go outside, practice yoga and meditation, daydream, colour
